I cannot believe that it is already May! The time has just been flying. Our studio has been planting trees on the property this last month to bring in added color to our oaks and laying out trails and little nooks throughout the beauty of the front area to add to the charm of this place. We're very excited for Fall, have been spending a great deal of time enjoying ourselves on the baseball fields and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our newest little Granddaughter, Ella.

This last March, Meg and I got to spend some time with one of our favorite amazing couples, Taylor and Tex, for their engagement session next door at The Vandalia. This lovely venue was just what Taylor and Tex wanted to be surrounded with with it's country atmosphere and then we finished off, again in April on our own studio grounds an additional shoot with their beloved fur babies, the heart of their little family.  Â

Taylor is yet another amazing client the studio has had a chance to walk through milestones with. We have known Taylor since Meg, our daughter, and Taylor knew each other in High School. We were thrilled to hear of Taylor's and Tex's engagement to one another and look forward to their wedding coming up in Fall. Taylor and Tex met each other in their Sophomore year in high school in a History class and began dating a year after they graduated from High School. They've gone the distance with their bond for three years long distance while Taylor went to school. On their 5 year anniversary, Tex popped the question and Taylor accepted. This year when they tie the knot, Taylor's Grandparents, married in June of 1959, will also celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary and their wedding will be the day after Tex's birthday.
Â
The green color of Tex's eyes and how bright they are win Taylor over time and time again. Taylor feels the secret to their relationship in years to come will be the great laughter and good times they share when they're together and their love for taking time to relax and have fun with board/card games. Tex loves Taylor's equally fiery stubbornness and that Taylor is his best friend and that he can talk to her about anything and each moment, no matter where they go, they always have so much fun.  They both appreciate a simple life and hope to create roots together on their own property with their love for their fur babies/animals surrounding them. Tex is also hoping to build additional memories by traveling someplace new every year as they spend the rest of their lives building on their future together.
Our studio wishes for these two a lifetime of memories to share!
