I was inspired tonight by these two and thought to myself what a great way to break in on my new site with my first blog but with Bridget and Jeremy. In between my Sunday night catch up with laundry, gathering the BIG shed husky hair from my two huskies and getting ready for the week ahead I've been processing Bridget and Jeremy's images I captured the other day of their adorable newborn son, Joseph, and his very excited sister and brother whom I've had the honor to photograph as well over the years. Not only have I taken pics of these two littles but I've also been taking pictures of their parents when they got engaged and through two pregnancies. Matter fact, I've known Bridget for quite some time before she went on her first date with Jeremy. Bridget has been one of the most amazing hair stylists over the years. We've had amazing conversations and not only have I watched their family grow strong together through such great evident faith but she has also been a part of my family as our family has grown.
I decided when I put up Joseph's photo gallery that I would pull back up the other nine galleries so we could get a chance to walk down memory lane briefly. I also was curious to go back and pull up a couple of shots of the kids when they were babies because Joseph looked so much, at certain points in the shoot, like James and Clare.
I was thinking as Bridget's littles were making giggly circles around my little set up with Joseph, and family and friends were coming in and out in preparation for the Baptism the next day how amazing those special moments were and enjoying the changing energy that was building the strengths of the new dynamic of their home, so different from when Bridget and Jeremy and myself and Meg walked through the parks to capture their eagerness to start their lives together.
Merenda and I were so excited to hear of their great news of expecting their first baby together! We completely thought it was a girl. But we were so wrong. Little James was just adorable and so lucky to be welcomed into such loving arms.
Before we knew it we were getting a call that James, in a blink of an eye, was turning six months, so full of charm.
We celebrated Jame's first Christmas right before we ran his first birthday session. He was just a doll down at the Folsom Powerhouse, one of our favorite spots to hold a photo session!!
Such great memories, and they're not even my kids or baby grands, that I got to go back through to pick my favorites for this blog, and I was genuinely touched at how amazing these two have been over the years for one another and through their love now for these beautiful kids.
Sweet little James turned one and in a blink of an eye we were returning to celebrate the wonder filled expectation of Baby #2.
And, then there was beautiful little Clare!
We celebrated Clare's one year birthday with her and her big brother, princess style.
Our studio had moved up the hill from Fair Oaks to Shingle Springs last year but no distance could keep us from returning to treasure new memories as Bridget and Jeremy celebrated the birth of Joseph this year. Another little cutie that is sure to be just as charming as his brother and sister not to mention such an amazing family surrounding them. We're eager to get the five of them up here at the new outdoor studio when they're all running around celebrating Joseph's 1st birthday in the near future, especially with the way time flies.
We feel so appreciative to the Youngers for choosing our fine art studio time and time again to continue to create these amazing memories with them. It has been an amazing journey being able to do something we're so incredibly passionate about and it is all worth it when we deliver prints to our clients and they are touched by the beauty of these special timeless moments created.
